Glassmason License

Version 1.0 · Pewterham · November 4, 2026

In short

Buy once and use it forever. Make as many websites as you like, for yourself or for clients. Just don't share or resell Glassmason itself.

You may

  • Use Glassmason forever, on computers you own or control, one at a time.
  • Make as many websites as you like, for yourself or for clients, including paid client work.
  • Publish, sell and hand over the websites you make. They are yours, with no credit or link back to Glassmason.
  • Use the sample photos in websites you make with Glassmason.
  • Keep a private online copy for your own use, protected so only you can open it.

You may not

  • Share, give away, sell, rent or sub-license Glassmason, or any part of it, changed or not.
  • Sell it as a website builder, a template pack or a stock photo pack, or include it in another product.
  • Put Glassmason itself online where other people can open it.
  • Use the sample photos outside websites made with Glassmason, or present the people in them as real.
  • Remove the font licences that come with the fonts.

1. Who grants this licence

This licence is granted by Deshenvale Ltd, trading as Pewterham ("we", "us"), a company registered in Scotland with company number SC900494, whose registered office is at 48 West George Street, Glasgow, Scotland, G2 1BP. "You" means the person who bought Glassmason.

The licence is the same whether you bought Glassmason on our website, through our reseller Paddle, or on Etsy. Glassmason is © Deshenvale Ltd 2026, apart from the fonts by other designers in section 4, which keep their own licences.

2. What you may do

3. What you may not do

4. Fonts

Glassmason includes fonts by other designers, shared under the SIL Open Font License 1.1 or the Apache License 2.0. Each font's licence travels with it, inside Glassmason and inside every website you download (assets/fonts). The premium fonts named in FONTS.md are not included: buy a licence from their makers if you want to use them.

5. The websites you make

You are responsible for what your websites say and show: that it is true, that you have the right to use your words, photos, videos and logos, and that it follows the laws where you do business (for example on advertising, reviews, consumer rights and privacy). The starter text is an example only. It is not legal, medical, financial or professional advice.

6. Activation

7. Updates and help

Updates to this version of Glassmason are free. For help, email us at [email protected] or, if you bought on Etsy, message us there.

8. No warranty, and your rights

Glassmason is provided "as is". We work hard to make it reliable, but we cannot promise it will be free of errors or suit every purpose. As far as the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the price you paid. Nothing in this licence limits rights you have by law as a consumer.

Glassmason is a digital download. When you bought it, you asked for it to be supplied straight away and acknowledged that once the download starts you lose the 14-day right to cancel. This doesn't affect your other legal rights, for example if Glassmason is faulty. Our terms and refunds say what happens if something is wrong.

9. If these terms are broken

If you break these terms, this licence ends and you must delete your copies of Glassmason. Websites you made while following these terms can stay online.

10. The law

This licence is governed by the laws of Scotland. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the laws of the country where you live.

11. Privacy

Activation sends us your code, a random ID made for your browser and which app it is, and never your websites, your words, your photos or anything you type. Our privacy notice says what we keep, why, for how long, and your rights.
