Why Vitaesmith

Most résumé websites let you write for nothing. Then they charge every four weeks for the right to download what you wrote. We think that's backwards. A résumé builder should be like a good pen: you buy it once, and it's yours.

Made to keep

No clock. No meter.
No renewal.

  1. Take your time.

A résumé deserves more than a free trial's countdown.

  2. A version for every job.

No charge per résumé, no charge per template.

  3. Changing jobs again in two years?

It's still yours, at no extra cost.

Templates

One résumé.
Eight looks.

Same words, new look. Switch as often as you like: nothing you wrote moves, and every template keeps its shape however much you write.

Drop in a photo and Auto-frame centers your face in the template's own frame. Zoom, rotate, and a print check tells you whether it will be sharp on paper.

Questions, answered.

What do I get when I buy?

A zip with the Vitaesmith app, START HERE and the User Guide (75 pages). Your activation code arrives by email from [email protected], usually within a few minuteswithin 24 hours.

Does it need the internet?

Only once, for a moment, to activate your code. After that it works offline; when you're online it checks in at most once a day.

Does it work on a Mac?

Yes: in Chrome or Edge, on Windows or Mac. You open it from the folder you download; there's nothing to install.

Can I use it on my phone?

Every screen fits a phone, and you can keep a private online copy that only you can open. The User Guide's phone chapter shows how. For the final PDF, a computer is simplest.

Can I write résumés for other people?

Yes: as many as you like, for family, friends or paying clients. What you can't do is share or resell Vitaesmith itself.

Can I resell Vitaesmith, or put it in my own product?

No. Your license is for your own use: you can't share, sell or give away the app or its templates, put it online for others, or include it in another app, template pack or product. Read the license

How does activation work?

Your code works on one computer (one web browser) at a time. Changing computers? Enter it on the new one and choose Move it here: you can do that yourself up to 3 times a year.

Can I get a refund?

We don't refund a change of mind once the download starts. If something's wrong with it, tell us: we'll fix it, replace it or refund you. Your legal rights aren't affected.

Will it get me an interview?

We can't promise that, and nobody honestly can. Vitaesmith helps you make a clear, well-made résumé and catches the common mistakes; what it says is up to you.

We read every message, and we keep improving.
