Pay once, or pay every month?

FreshBooks and Wave do a lot more: they send your invoices and take payments. If good-looking invoices, quotes and timesheets are what you need, here's how a one-time app compares, from their own US pricing pages, read on October 21, 2026.

Questions, answered.

Does Coppertally send my invoices?

No: it makes the PDF. You email it, or print it and mail it in an envelope Coppertally addresses for you.

Does it work out sales tax?

It adds up the tax at the rate you type, under the name you choose: sales tax, VAT or GST. It doesn't know your state's or country's rate, and it isn't tax advice.

Can my customers pay through it?

No. Your invoice shows how to pay you (a check, a bank transfer, a payment link), and your customer pays you directly. Coppertally never touches the money.

Can I print envelopes at home?

Yes, on most home printers: choose the envelope size, and feed the envelopes as your printer's manual shows. Label sheets print on plain US Letter or A4 label stock.

Can I resell Coppertally, or put it in my own product?

No. Your license is for your own use: you can't share, sell or give away the app or its templates, put it online for others, or include it in another app or product. Read the license

Does it need the internet?

Only once, for a moment, to activate your code. After that it works offline.

Does it work on a Mac?

Yes: in Chrome, Edge or Firefox, on Windows or Mac. You open it from the folder you download; there's nothing to install.

Can I get a refund?

We don't refund a change of mind once the download starts. If something's wrong with it, tell us: we'll fix it, replace it or refund you. Your legal rights aren't affected.

We read every message, and we keep improving.
