1. Who grants this licence
This licence is granted by Deshenvale Ltd, trading as Pewterham ("we", "us"), a company registered in Scotland with company number SC900494, whose registered office is at 48 West George Street, Glasgow, Scotland, G2 1BP. "You" means the person who bought Glassmason.
The licence is the same whether you bought Glassmason on our website, through our reseller Paddle, or on Etsy. Glassmason is © Deshenvale Ltd 2026, apart from the fonts by other designers in section 4, which keep their own licences.
2. What you may do
- Use Glassmason, forever, on any computers and devices you own or control, one computer at a time (section 6).
- Make as many websites as you like, for yourself or for clients, including paid client work.
- Publish, sell and hand over the websites you make. They are yours. No credit or link back to Glassmason is needed.
- Use the sample photos in websites you make with Glassmason.
- Keep a private online copy of Glassmason for your own use (for example, to use it on a phone or tablet), as long as it is protected so only you can open it. With activation, an online copy counts as one of your computers (section 6).
3. What you may not do
- Share, give away, sell, rent or sub-license Glassmason, or any part of it (its code, templates or sample photos), whether as it is or changed. That includes selling it as a website builder, a template pack or a stock photo pack, or including it in another product.
- Put Glassmason itself online where other people can open it.
- Use the sample photos outside websites made with Glassmason, or sell or give them away on their own.
- Present the people in the sample photos as real people, such as your team, your customers or your reviewers. They were created with AI and are not real.
- Remove the font licences that come with the fonts.
4. Fonts
Glassmason includes fonts by other designers, shared under the SIL Open Font License 1.1 or the Apache License 2.0. Each font's licence travels with it, inside Glassmason and inside every website you download (assets/fonts). The premium fonts named in FONTS.md are not included: buy a licence from their makers if you want to use them.
5. The websites you make
You are responsible for what your websites say and show: that it is true, that you have the right to use your words, photos, videos and logos, and that it follows the laws where you do business (for example on advertising, reviews, consumer rights and privacy). The starter text is an example only. It is not legal, medical, financial or professional advice.
6. Activation
- Glassmason needs a one-time online activation. If you bought on our website, your activation code arrives by email within 24 hours of your payment; if you bought on Etsy, it arrives by Etsy message, usually within 24 hours.
- Glassmason asks for the code when you first open it, and you can choose Later. Until you enter it you can use everything except one step: the first time you download your website, Glassmason asks for the code again.
- A code works on one computer at a time. A "computer" means one web browser on one computer: another browser, a private window or an online copy counts as another computer.
- You can move your code to another computer yourself up to 3 times in any 12 months. "Remove this computer" in Glassmason frees it without using a move. If you need more, ask us.
- If the activation service can't be reached when you first enter your code, Glassmason gives that computer a 7-day temporary pass and confirms your code later. A temporary pass ends if the code turns out not to be valid, or is already in use on another computer.
- Once activated, Glassmason works offline. When you're online it checks in at most once a day; if it can't reach us, nothing changes.
- We switch off a code when its order is refunded in full or charged back. If a chargeback is reversed and the order wasn't refunded in full, we switch the code back on. We may also switch off a code that is shared in breach of this licence.
- If we ever close the activation service, we will first release a free update of Glassmason that works without activation. Until then, we'll send you an offline pass on request.
7. Updates and help
Updates to this version of Glassmason are free. For help, email us at [email protected] or, if you bought on Etsy, message us there.
8. No warranty, and your rights
Glassmason is provided "as is". We work hard to make it reliable, but we cannot promise it will be free of errors or suit every purpose. As far as the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the price you paid. Nothing in this licence limits rights you have by law as a consumer.
Glassmason is a digital download. When you bought it, you asked for it to be supplied straight away and acknowledged that once the download starts you lose the 14-day right to cancel. This doesn't affect your other legal rights, for example if Glassmason is faulty. Our terms and refunds say what happens if something is wrong.
9. If these terms are broken
If you break these terms, this licence ends and you must delete your copies of Glassmason. Websites you made while following these terms can stay online.
10. The law
This licence is governed by the laws of Scotland. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the laws of the country where you live.
11. Privacy
Activation sends us your code, a random ID made for your browser and which app it is, and never your websites, your words, your photos or anything you type. Our privacy notice says what we keep, why, for how long, and your rights.
